Welcome to the Warrior Blog

It all started when a young girl began her introduction to the world. She was getting older, getting to understand more of the world, and a lot of it was pretty scary.

That little girl had always had trouble with anxiety. She would get the jitters before she went places and didn’t understand why. It was scary when her stomach hurt and the voices in her head told her all the bad things that could happen. It became a cycle, fear = more fear.

As she got older, she learned how to handle these attacks, but they never went away; and they probably never will. But she learned some things to help her along the way.

One of them was bracelets.

Not only did they distract her while she made them, but when she wore them she had something to fidget with. A token that told her no matter where she was, she had no need to fear.

Today she makes bracelets to help others. She makes them to help others fight their own battles, and to give them a little spark of joy in their lives.

WarriorDesigns aspires to give this dark, scary world a spark of colour, and to remind you no matter where you are, you are stronger than your fears and inspire you to keep fighting your battles.

Hello and welcome! You’ve made it to the Warrior Blog.

You may be wondering about the name. The WarriorCo doesn’t really scream ‘author website’.

The name actually started out as WarriorDesigns, the brand for my amateur graphic design projects; so when I made something for one of my online friends, everyone would know who made it. Whether it was a collage, a cover, or any other random project, it would have my brand on it.

I used ‘Warrior’ because that was the name of my first novel attempt, a project that is still very close to my heart. At the time, my goal was to start an author brand around the idea of being a ‘warrior writer’, as well as a jewelry brand based around the same idea. My goal was to start out with jewelry and work my way up to graphic design, which is what I’ve now done.

The WarriorCo is the result of all those goals and ideas, culminating into one site.

My mission with this blog hasn’t really changed. I want to share my writing with the world, and ultimately make impact for Christ.

Will this blog be perfect? No.

I might post late, my writing may be sloppy, and you may not hear from me at all for weeks on end.

But I believe that no matter how imperfect this blog is, God can still use it for His purposes.

I’ll also be posting mostly the same things. Small bible thoughts, writing articles, interviews, and the occasional piece of fiction.

I’m excited for this new leg of my blogging journey, and I’m excited that you guys are here on it with me.

Subscribe to keep up with new blog posts, dropping every weekend.

Stay Brave, Be Bold.
