Yesterday I received copies of two anthologies; Come Alive and Voices of the Future.
The two are very different; one is a professional showcase of ready to be published authors, and the the other is a simple compilation of stories, with a main goal of being able to hold something we wrote in our hands, even if it’s imperfect.
But these two books are the same in that they hold stories that were written by young authors who aspire to make a difference in our ever-darkening world with their writing.

Come Alive has a focus on light in darkness. My own story, The Day We Lost is about a boy named Lucas who must sacrifice everything to stop the Darkness that has overtaken his land and give his people a chance at a new life in a new world.
I’ve learned a lot through the process of being a part of this anthology, and I hope one day soon, I will have the honor of being a part of a more prestigious collection, like Voices of the Future.

Voices of the Future is the Author Conservatory’s first ever official publication, and as of yesterday had already sold 555 copies on pre-order! That’s higher than 50% of traditionally published authors sell in their first year of their book’s release. If they can sell 1000 copies over the next year, that will be more sales than 60% of traditionally published authors get in a year.
This is because the Author’s Conservatory, a collage alternative for writers, not only teaches students how to structure, write, and pitch their novels, but also how to market themselves and their writing. The Author’s Conservatory is trying to raise up the next generation of storytellers by equipping them with every tool and skill they need, to help them achieve their dreams successfully.
The best thing about this anthology (besides the fact that the stories are amazing) is that 100% of the proceeds go towards sending Author Conservatory students to writing conferences, where they can learn from published authors, literary agents, editors, and even pitch their ideas to professionals!
So what are you waiting for? Purchase one or both of these anthologies today, and help the next generation of storytellers achieve their dreams.
